Why do people find it funny to mass-send hateful valentines through the anonymous deviantart valentine sender?
this is really disgusting and it needs to stop.
valentine's is my favorite holiday ever and whoever is doing this is putting a huge poopstain on it.
I checked and apparently a lot of other people are getting it too- and the weird thing? the receivers are ALL female. sounds like some gross sicko living in his mother's basement has nothing better to do than be hateful towards an entire gender simply because he can't get a girlfriend.

Hi everyone! I've mostly just been silently lurking here. I'm just not really a big fan of the site now, but unfortunately there isn't a good gallery site replacement yet, and I would like to post my art in higher-res/non compressed quality (twitter is very stinky and compresses a lot) so.... back to dA! For now, I'm going to use PostyBirb to catch up chronologically on my artwork in the past year that I haven't uploaded here. Sorry for any spam, to catch up quickly I'll probably post multiple daily! I'm also going through and attempting to clean up my watching list. It was at over 2,000 for users and groups collectively, I would like to make it below 800 if possible, and leave most groups I am not actively participating in. My inbox alone was making me avoid this place a lot due to how endlessly full it always was, so cleaning it all thoroughly will help me not get overwhelmed. Hello again! I'm back!
It's been quite a while that I've been away from here! I've been far more active over on Twitter for some time now. Still, I really miss the community on this site and also miss participating in various ARPGs and am looking to return here! Updates about dA: I'm not really fond of the dA layout changes nor the money-grabby Core upgrade stuff though so likely will just hang around casually. I'll still be most easily reachable on Twitter! I like keeping my galleries in chronological order so I will be playing a bit of catch-up, posting a few drawings from earlier this year, spread out over the next few days so as not to spam. I hope you like what's to come! Once I'm all caught up, I'll be posting more sporadically as usual, with any new stuff I create! What? Someone is sending hate mail as gifts!? That is depraved!t Valentinus* must be turning in his grave.
*Early church era Christian martyr. There are conflicting stories about him, IIRC one says he was executed for continuing to perform Christian marriages against the Roman ban on Christianity. He is a canon saint in Catholic liturgy, and that's where we get Saint Valentine's Day from. Yes, I bring this up every Valentine's Day. And every Saint Patrick's Day. It's a sort of running gag by now.
That reminds me! I should send out my Valentine's Day song as a gift! Onwards!
